Vision. Blue Delta formed in late 2009 to fill a void in the Government Services marketplace, by providing equity capital to entrepreneurs who wanted to grow their businesses, but without selling control of their companies or taking on too much debt. We make equity investments in return for non-control ownership positions and given our decades of experience as venture capitalists and successful CEOs, we can be value-added partners in the businesses that we back.
Execution. In just over a decade, we have already made 21 investments in the Federal Government Services sector and we have many more coming. We have been fortunate to work with great entrepreneurs, who have already provided 13 significant liquidity events which have created over $1 billion in shareholder value, from 10 full exits and 3 major dividends. Furthermore, working with these wonderful management teams to achieve several instances of life-changing wealth creation for them and their employees has led to enduring relationships, including within our current portfolio companies and our investor base.
Momentum. Every week we meet with impressive management teams who are representative of a class of emerging, serial entrepreneurs that are delivering cutting edge solutions to the U.S. Federal Government’s most pressing mission needs. We have also developed a deep bench of operational, financial, and technical executive talent – many of whom are alumni of our past successful investments – that are available to support portfolio companies as advisers, Independent Directors, and occasionally permanent hires. These talented executives augment our investment team and our Advisory Board, which has hundreds of years of combined experience investing in and operating Government Services companies, mentoring their management teams, and creating billions of dollars of shareholder value.
